Advancing Philanthropy and Impact at First Ladies
The National First Ladies Library & Museum is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer “Jennie” George as Director of Development.
Jennie joins the organization as a seasoned nonprofit leader with nearly three decades of experience advancing mission-driven work that serves children, families, and communities. Throughout her career, she has built a strong reputation for cultivating philanthropic partnerships, strengthening organizational capacity, and connecting meaningful support to initiatives that create lasting impact.
In her role at the National First Ladies Library & Museum, Jennie will lead all aspects of development strategy, including major gifts, donor engagement, grant support, and philanthropic growth. She will play a key role in expanding awareness of the Museum’s mission and building the resources needed to preserve and share the stories of America’s First Ladies with audiences across the nation.

A committed civic leader, Jennie has been actively involved in a range of community organizations focused on cultural enrichment, civic development, and nonprofit service. Her leadership reflects a longstanding dedication to strengthening communities through meaningful engagement and support.
