Mary Regula Memorial Scholarship Program

In honor of our visionary founder, Mary Regula, the National First Ladies Library & Museum is excited to announce the Mary Regula Memorial Scholarship, a $1,000 award for 11th or 12th grade students in our hometown of Stark County, Ohio.

Mary Regula, a devoted teacher, Congressional spouse, and mother of three, made it her mission to fill the educational gap surrounding First Ladies and influential women in our nation's history. Now, we're inviting YOU to participate in our Essay Contest and Scholarship!

Essay Prompt: How would you reframe a significant historical event through the eyes of the First Lady of the United States, rather than through the eyes of her husband, the President?
